BENEFIT AND NASSER VOCATIONAL TRAINING CENTER (NVTC) SIGN MoU TO DEVELOP KEY ENTREPRENEURIAL INITIATIVES

August 2021 (Manama, Bahrain) - BENEFIT, Bahrain’s innovator and a leading company in FinTech and electronic financial transactions service and Nasser Vocational Training Centre (NVTC) have recently signed an MoU to unlock opportunities and support in developing the next generation of entrepreneurs. The agreement was signed in a special ceremony held on August 4 by NVTC Managing Director Dr. Abdulla AlNoaimi and BENEFIT CE Mr. Abdulwahed AlJanahi. 

The MoU will enable both entities to mutually contribute, provide key resources and value to foster entrepreneurship to achieve common goals in line with Bahrain’s Vision 2030. Both parties will support youth development by teaching entrepreneurial skills encompassing a variety of business fields. The collaborative efforts will go towards supporting and developing aspiring entrepreneurs with critical knowledge to create, launch and grow businesses. 

In terms of supporting the National Women Empowerment vision of the Kingdom, the strategic partnership will further develop joint research programmes and launch key events to foster and promote women’s entrepreneurship. Furthermore, BENEFIT will utilise the Center’s Research and Development Department facilities for Artificial Intelligence research and specific innovation focused projects.  

BENEFIT CE Mr. Abdulwahed AlJanahi commented on the partnership: “We are pleased to be part of this initiative and be a key player to push key national agendas and initiatives. The NVTC serves as a prime launchpad for the youth in the Kingdom, and with our resources and skilled team, we can further enrich the centre to achieve more. As BENEFIT, collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. Embracing the need to collaborate to achieve a common vision is crucial to produce greater impact, diversity, and innovation for a strong, and resilient ecosystem.”  

For his part, NVTC Managing Director Dr. Abdulla AlNoaimi said: “We have ambitious plans in the center to expand the launch of national initiatives that contribute to the enhancement and refinement of youth expertise in several fields. Therefore, we constantly aspire to hold a series of significant national partnerships with active parties in different sectors, in order to enhance cooperation with them and benefit from mutual expertise.”

The NVTC was established by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa by Royal Decree No.37 for the year 2014, with the vision to be the leading provider of skilled Bahraini nationals for the local market in the Kingdom. NVTC addresses the need for national youth to be trained in technical and vocational fields. Their mission is to empower Bahrainis with the competencies needed to contribute to Bahrain’s future development through workplace focused, lifelong technical, and vocational education and training.
